Predicting Adolescent Positive Development Based on Self-Regulation, Social Competence and Parental Bonding with Mediating Role of Perception of School Climate

purposeThe aim of this study was to model the positive development adolescence based on self-regulation, social competence and parental bond with mediating role perception school atmosphere.MethodologyThe research method correlation structural equations. The statistical population included all female high students in Tehran who were studying 2019-20. Using cluster random sampling method, 400 selected as sample. To collect data from Geldhof Adolescent Positive Development Questionnaire (2014), Self-Regulatory Moilanen (2007), Felner Social Competence (1990), Parker Parental Bonding (1979), Trickett & Moos Atmosphere Perception (1973) used. Data analysis performed using equation lisrel SPSS software.FindingsThe results showed that has a good fit can be predicted variables atmosphere hypotheses confirmed. Overall, show predict adolescence, we emphasize obtained used teaching adolescent development.ConclusionThe self-regulatory variables, bonding is best way prevent problems related behavior promoting these components their education improvement very effective forming development.
